The Council Square apartments are located right the heart of all the action on the north side of Cedar Rapids including fantastic shopping, loads of dining options, and all kind of recreation choices. You will find several major employers and lots of other companies nearby, or enjoy simple access to I-380 for a ride downtown. While there are some income restrictions, this community offers two- and three- bedroom units that could be great for families.

Location

The location of council Square is right off Council Street NE between Collins Road and Blairs Ferry Road. This neighborhood includes several hotels, lots of restaurants and a movie cinema.

Shopping & Dining

Sports fans can keep up with all their favorite teams on the many screens in Buffalo Wild Wings while you are trying out the many sauce variations and a refreshing brew. This site is close to Chili’s, a Japanese Steakhouse, and Panera Bread. You can get grocery shopping done at the Target Supercenter and while you are there pick up some athletic socks, a pair of reading glasses or a toaster. Within a few minutes you can reach Sam’s Club, Kohl’s and the Lindale Mall.

Recreation

Families may enjoy regular visits to the CR Science Center which offers incredible hands-on exhibits, frequent events and lots of educational programs.   Call a friend for a game of tennis at nearby Noelridge Park or take your family to the aquatic center where they can ride down the spiral slide. For a more relaxing evening, take a walk across the street to the 16-screen Galaxy Cinema to watch a movie.

If you like to go to the movies there is multiplex Galaxy Cinema just down the street. You can also find a bowling center where you can meet up with friends once in a while or join a league. One feature we really like about this location is that you can walk or bike right on the Cedar River Trail for a terrific place to get some exercise.
