The Gateway Gardens apartments are found on the south side of the city and can be a good choice for renters seeking a place near some of the large employers near US 30 such as Aegon and AMD. This place is close to some schools that can be a delight for parents. There is a large retail area only a few miles away and Cedar Rapid’s tops sports attractions are within a short drive.

View the Gateway Gardens along 6^th St SW between 29^th Ave SW and 31^st Ave SW. Renters can walk to a restaurant and local café. There is a bowling center, several hotels, and some restaurants in this neighborhood.

Take a ride along 33^rd Street SW and you can quickly reach a large shopping area that includes a Wal-Mart Supercenter where you can find everything to pack your refrigerator to Target and a transitional Mall.

Recreation

Make sure you have air in the tires of your mountain bike so it is ready for frequent rides around the trails in nearby Beverly Park. With the Lancer Lanes so close you might be convinced to join a bowling league with a few friends. Don’t rule out exciting sports action with Veterans Memorial Stadium, a football stadium and ice arena all a short drive from the Gateway Gardens apartments.
