The Glenmary Village apartments offer a country setting well away from the city. Nearby access to US 31E make it able to reach the GE facility in about 15 minutes and downtown in about 20 minutes. Here you will be able to enjoy the city’s open spaces.

Location

You can find Glenmary Village right off of Bardstown Road in southeast Louisville, past I-265. There is one restaurant and a few businesses in this suburban neighborhood.

Shopping & Dining

This place is well away from the city so don’t expect to find many retail shops nearby. There one restaurant in this area that is very well rated called Bootleg Bar-B-Q and known for its pit-smoked pork, homemade side dishes and desserts. A short drive north of here you can find some other eateries such as Pizza Hut, Subway and Outback Steakhouse. We also found a place called Aspen Creek that is all-the-rave. Kohl’s and a Wal-Mart Supercenter are also north of here near the Freeway.

Recreation

Glenmary Village has an attractive on-site swimming pool and a dedicated workout room. You can get some golfing in at the Glenmary Country Club and take trips out to McNeely Lake Park for outdoor activities.
