The Reflections of Island Park apartments are a welcome residence for many in Shreveport as it is central to several of the city’s top destinations. Military families will be able to reach Barksdale AFB in about ten minutes with a quick trip across the river on Westgate Drive. Faculty and staff of LSU Shreveport can get off campus but reach classes in minutes. The VA Medical Center and two smaller hospitals are easily within reach of this community. You can get to plenty of great shops at University Place along Youree Drive. When it’s time to unwind, get over to the park across the street and go for a run or bike ride along the Red River.

You can find the Reflections of Island Park off of Island Park Boulevard near Clyde Fant Parkway. This is a nice sized residential neighborhood that is surrounded by trees, lakes and open fields.

In the other direction it won’t take much longer to reach a huge retail area hosting Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Barnes & Nobel and Sam’s Club. Near the university offers a diverse selection of eateries such as Panera Bread, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Chili’s and Chipotle.
