Southgate Rydal Apartments in Bordentown, NJ gives you a chance to live in the heart of this town close to schools, parks and well-liked eateries. Head out of your driveway onto US 130 towards New Brunswick or Camden, or turn the corner for a short ride up US 206 to Trenton. This place has a pool and welcomes cats.

COST

On the low side– rent at Southgate & Rydal is definitely low compared to other properties in the area that we viewed.

On top of the reasonable rent cost, this community includes some utilities with the rent.

LOCATION

Convenient spot – in addition to be close to a few area highways, these apartments are just outside the historic downtown Bordentown area.    

A large park down the street includes ball fields, two basketball courts and a playground.

You should be able to walk to a bunch of dining establishments along US 130. There are sidewalks along the opposite side of Ward Avenue.

For basic groceries there is an ALDI market nearby, otherwise the Shop Rite is less than 3 miles north on Route 206.

CONVENIENCES

Laundry facility – you are going to need to set some extra time aside for laundry days as there are no in-home machines.

Package service– you can pick up your packages from Amazon at the office so you will be sure to get them.

PETS

Cats only – no need to leave Garfield behind as Southgate & Rydal allows cats. Sorry Odie. There is a large PetSmart store in Hamilton several miles north.

LEISURE          

A few activities– you will be welcomed by a large swimming pool but no other onsite recreation.

Nearby Central Community Park does have basketball courts and several ballfields.
