Shenandoah Village Apartments in Lakewood, NJ is like a park-side retreat, nestled alongside the Lake Shenandoah County Park and across from Woodlake Country Club. This peaceful setting is just a short drive from the Garden State Parkway and Route 9. These apartments have some of the largest floor plans around with unique spaces such as a great room or den.

COST

On the high side– you can certainly find lower priced apartments in this area but for the amount of space you get, these homes are a down right bargain.

There is a small application fee, but some costs such as water and trash are included in the rent.

LOCATION

Convenient central location – this is a versatile spot about midway between two major highways. You can quickly hop on US 9 or easily make your way up to the Burnt Tavern Road entrance to the GSP.

If you are looking for an apartment close to Ocean Medical Center or Georgian Court University, Shenandoah Village Apartments will let you get to your destination in minutes.

There is plenty of shopping options right on the other side of the parkway. This site is also within a short drive of the beach.

Tip: a nice feature of this spot is there is a huge park with trails and sports facilities right next door.

CONVENIENCES

In-home Washer & Dryer – most renters find it a big plus to have their own washer and dryer and Shenandoah Village can provide you with your own machines.

We like the idea that there is a Speedy Mart across the street for a sandwich or late night snack.

PETS

Pet friendly – both dogs and cats are allowed with restrictions. This community is not far from a Petco store on Highway 70.

LEISURE          

Decent activities– there is no pool on the premises but there is a small playground. Renters can also use some charcoal grill in an outdoor picnic area with tables.

On the far end of the park you will find basketball courts and access to some trails. Residents here may enjoy onstage performances at The Strand theatre near Madison Ave. In the other direction you can enjoy an afternoon of bowling at Ocean Lanes. In the vicinity you can also find an AMC movie cinema and the Lakewood Blue Claws baseball stadium.

Note: across the street you can access Ocean County Park to play disc golf, tennis, ride bikes and much more.
