What you should know before visiting The River Club Apartments
- By Rentals Online staff
Rentals Online investigated The River Club Apartments in Edgewater NJ and got the inside scoop to save you time.
More than just a great location, The River Club Apartments Homes deliver a way of life. You will be so close yet so far from the city right there across the river. Luxury abounds with many new upgrades, but the unique dynamic neighborhood is what sets the property apart from the many other options.
One of the first things we look for is how far an apartment is from major public transportation. There is an NJ Transit bus stop in front of The River Club that will take you to the Port Authority in Manhattan in about 35 minutes. But the real bonus here is that they offer a complimentary shuttle to the New York Waterway ferry (beyond walking distance) which will get you to Midtown in just 15 minutes.
If you really need to take your car, this property is positioned right at the mid-point of the Lincoln Tunnel and George Washington Bridge. You will pay a little extra but there is underground garage parking space for rent.
It will only take a few minutes to reach the Palisades Medical Center and about fifteen minutes to arrive at the major employers along Sylvan Ave in Englewood Cliffs.
Apartments at the River Club in Edgewater that are closer to the waterfront will have better views of the city than those closer to River Road but everyone can take in the vistas from the Riverwalk with a long walk or run after work.
Some renters may choose to unwind at the community fitness center or a dip in the pool. If you are feeling a bit more energetic, dial up a friend and meet up at Braddock Park for a game of tennis or bocce. Don’t worry the courts are all lighted so you can continue to play even after the sun sets.
You won’t find an apartment community closer to the City Place shopping center where you can buy clothes, sporting goods or a new phone. The retail venue even has an ACME store for all your grocery needs which can come in handy if you want to make use of those stainless steel appliances in your kitchen.
When you don’t feel like cooking, many quality dining spots can be found within a few strides of The River Club Apartments in Edgewater. Wrap your hands around a custom made Bison burger from Bareburger and wash that down with a frothy milk shake. If you still need more sugar, Hagen Das is also in the Promenade retail center.
With a full belly you might want to veg out in a cold movie theater at Edgewater Multiplex Cinemas. At the end of the night, stroll back home along the waterfront walkway thankful you don’t have to flag a taxi.
