Delaware Heights in Ewing, NJ offers an ideal spot if you want a quick trip to Trenton or into Pennsylvania. With access to I-95 around the corner you can cross the Delaware River and reach Philadelphia in about 45 minutes. Or drive along River Road to the State Capitol.

Bordered by dense woods and long grassy lawns, the Delaware Heights Apartments are a stark contrast to the urban area just a few miles away. The neighborhood has a pleasant road that will lead you down towards the river or up to the I-95 entrance. A few other residential developments occupy this area.

What’s in walking distance?

The street in front of Delaware Heights does have good sidewalks that can help you reach a large office park off Bear Tavern Road. It will be a one mile walk to get there though. We could not find any shops or dining within walking distance.

Points of Interest near Delaware Heights Apartments

Take a ride about one minute on River Road to find an entrance for the D&R Canal State Park Trail. This a perfect spot for long bike rides or distance running.

History buffs will want to investigate nearby Washington Crossing Historic Park which hosts frequent reenactments and events.

You can get most of your grocery shopping done along Highway 31 which features both Shop Rite and Stop & Shop stores. Buy Rite liquors is also located in this area.

It will take about 15 minutes to drive from Delaware Heights in Ewing to the major shopping centers along US 1. But the drive will be easy along I-95 and you will have a choice of two malls and hundreds of top brand stores.
