Located nearly midway between Rider University and the College of New Jersey, the Crossings at Ewing is a perfect spot for educators seeking an apartment close to campus. This spot also offers solitude with quiet surroundings and no highways in sight. Many large employers are minutes away.

The Crossings at Ewing is part of a large residential neighborhood alongside a cemetery and close to Loveless Nature Preserve. Central Park is just down the street. The surrounding area has lots of trees and an elementary school is around the corner.

What’s in walking distance?

We would not describe the neighborhood around The Crossings at Ewing as very walkable. There are no sidewalks and few shops close by. You might be able to hoof it down to a small strip mall with pizza and liquor store but that is about it.

In about the same amount of time you can drive to the West Trenton Station for a ride to Philadelphia. The 7AM train should arrive at 30^th Street Station at 8:19.

Points of Interest near The Crossings at Ewing

While there is no great pathway along Eggert Crossing Road, residents of The Crossings at Ewing have a great benefit of the Johnson Trolley Line Trail that you can access from Johnson Ave. This a perfect spot for bike rides and running with several miles of off-road space.

It may only be a one-time visit, but the National Guard Militia Museum is on the same street at this apartment community.

You will likely do most of your grocery shopping at the Shop Rite on N Olden Ave. A continuous row of quality shops line Route 1 including Quaker Bridge and Mercer Malls.

This site is just 1.8 miles from Business Route 1 and 1.5 miles from access to I-95.

Candela Restaurant & Pizzeria is one place you might try for a casual dinner. You can bring a bottle of wine and dine outdoors. Another area hot spot is Michael’s Restaurant. The diner style eatery is open until 11PM.
