Karl Place Apartments in Garfield, NJ are settled in a large residential area within an easy commute of Manhattan. You can hop a train or catch a bus nearby, or drive up to US 46 for a short ride to the Hudson River. This neighborhood is walkable to restaurants, parks, and some light shopping. Karl Place is an older community with limited amenities.

About average– you will find places in this area for more money and some for less. The amount of space you get with these apartments puts them in the middle in pricing based on our comparison.
There is a standard application fee but you should find some utilities included in the rent.
LOCATION
Walkable spot – one of the nice aspects of Karl Place Apartments is you can walk to many of the places you will need to reach for daily errands. There is a library, Dunkin’ Donuts, pizza, pharmacy and auto repair all within a few strides.
You can find a large retail area featuring Wal-Mart on Route 46.
There are a couple of large parks in this neighborhood where you can walk around a lake, play hockey or use imagination on a playground.
CONVENIENCES
Laundry facility – as with many older apartment homes there are no in-home washer/dryer machines.
PETS
Dogs and cats allowed – you can keep a dog or cat while living here but ask about fees and restrictions. There is a Pet Valu not too far away off of Main Street.
LEISURE
Limited activities– no onsite recreation amenities are included.
There are a couple of parks nearby with off road trails where you can go for a daily trot. When you need a quiet spot to catch up on some reading, the Garfield Public Library is right up the street. Consider heading down to Lodi Lanes when you are in the mood for some bowling.
