On the low side– the starting rent for a one bedroom at Hunters Glen Apartments is considerably lower than you might find elsewhere and the two bedrooms are more competitive. Be sure to compare at all the fees (pet, admin, and parking) before making a decision. Also, ask about any fees that may be assessed at move out so you are prepared.

LOCATION

Top notch setting – you will live in the heart of Plainsboro at Hunters Glen. This is a peaceful location that borders a golf course and a local park with basketball and volleyball courts, a playground and ball fields.  

The property is minutes from Route 1, the hospital, major employers and the Princeton Junction Train Station. Renters can catch the 600 bus from Plainsboro Road to the train and many shopping centers.

You can walk across the street to Princeton Meadows retail center with Asian Food Market, and a collection of international eateries.

Tip: Residents here can access Lenape Trail from George Davison Road for a scenic spot to run or walk along a creek.

CONVENIENCES

Mostly central laundry facilities– if you ask there are some apartments with in-home washer and dryers.

You can also stop in to the office for a complimentary coffee bar and the apartment community also has bike racks.

PETS

Pet friendly– both dogs and cats are welcome with restrictions. You can expect the pet fee and pet rent seem to be reasonable. Rent costs a little more for larger dogs though.

LEISURE

Decent activities– one feature that renters seem to enjoy about Hunters Glen Apartments is that there are three swimming pools so there is always a place to cool off.   In the adjacent park you can find a large playground area, two basketball courts and sand volleyball courts. The Meadows golf course at the rear of the complex is open to the public.

In a nutshell, renters love the location calling it quiet, peaceful and giving a safe feeling. It is convenient to many shops and businesses. While renters expressed some concern about aging appliances and higher than expected utility costs, most seem satisfied with their overall experience.

The biggest concern renters here faced were seemingly large fees for cleaning and painting on move out. Other feedback includes some reports of insects, pet droppings, plenty of parking, family oriented and mostly positive.

Outside of tenants being upset with move out fees, most give good ratings to the Hunter Glen Apartments management and maintenance staff. We noticed a few complaints about maintenance without notification, but in general the team was described at prompt, helpful and courteous. Online maintenance requests are deemed a big plus.
