The western New York village of Brockport is located along the Erie Canal about 19 minutes west of Rochester. The community is home to The College at Brockport, State University of New York, one reason many residents find their way here. Others decide to move to Brockport apartments to live outside the city as you can commute to Rochester from here in about 25 minutes. For example, you could live here and work at the Rochester Technology Park a short drive down Route 31. Many prominent companies such as Pepsi, Citigroup and Eastman Kodak have operations there.

Brockport has renovated its downtown area with a new welcome center and boat launch along with paved walkway along the waterfront. With lots of historic buildings and quaint shops that line Main Street, the community welcomes visitors, new businesses and new residents. While renting an apartment in Brockport, you may want to catch a movie at the Brockport Strand Theatre. Enjoy a round of golf at one of the area courses. Or, hit the slopes at the Northampton Park Ski area a few miles to the south.

There are lots of rental communities to choose from in Brockport. Many are located near Main Street, but all are within reach of the college and major roadways. One bedroom apartments in Brockport will typically rent for about $700 per month although you may find one for a lot less than that. Some occasional home rentals will be available, but not many though.
