Within a short walk of Berrington Village you will be able to reach an Ingles Markets grocery store, a nice convenience when you need to pick up a few ingredients or when someone is coming over. Residents here will find lots of great shopping about 3-4 miles north up Charlotte Highway with plenty of great stores such as Target, Wal-Mart Supercenter and Pier 1 Imports.

Attractions

Once you get settled here, one of the first stops you will want to take is to the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area where you can watch an award winning presentation on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Then hop in your car and go for a long ride on the BRP to experience the scenic beauty for yourself. If you have kids they will certainly want to spend time at the Asheville Fun Depot for games of laser tag, go karting, mini golf or the arcade. The Folk Art Center (3.0 miles) has beautiful works of art and regular events that include concerts and craft days.
