This property is located on the south side of Asheville near the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can use US Highway 25A to travel south towards Arden where you can find many small businesses along the way or reach the Regional Airport. This is a quiet, tree filled area that is mostly residential.

Location

You will want to have a car living at this location as there is not much within walking distance and public bus service is not available in this area.

Transportation

There is no public transportation in this area so you will need a car to get around. Sweeten Creek Road is a 45 mph highway that you can use to reach I-40, central Asheville or the airport.

Shopping

The main shopping area for this community will be along US Highway 25 where you will find an Ingles Market (1.7 miles north) for grocery items and a Wal-Mart Super Center (2.5 miles south) for all your supplies and household needs.

Attractions

If you are not working for the Biltmore Estate you will certainly want to visit this former Vanderbilt Home, the largest in the country. Just north of here there is a family fun center with go karts, mini golf and soft play area that will be great if you have kids. Residents of Woods Edge can watch the latest movies at Carolina Cinemas located on US 25 near the Wal-Mart.
