Renters who want to live a little away from the hustle and bustle in a more country setting will find this place appealing. The Bennington Woods Apartments are situated about one mile from Tryon Road, a main thoroughfare in the southern part of Cary NC. This property enables easy access to US 64/1 for commuters, and is an excellent spot for staff of the Western Wake Medical Center.
This community presents a quiet country setting with lots of trees and sidewalks.
You will have to hoof it to Tryon Road at Cary Parkway to reach the nearest public bus stop. It will take you about 14 minutes to walk there but you will gain access to a Triangle Transit on the #305 route between Cary and Raleigh. Drivers can head straight up SE Cary Parkway to access US 64/1 and be quickly on their way.
At the Wellington Park Shopping Center (.9 miles) you will find a few shops and a small food market. But if you take a ride west on Tryon Road you will come to a much larger retail area that includes a Whole Foods Market, Harris Teeter and Wal-Mart Supercenter. If you like to cook, you will have lots of choices where to buy food. This property is not far from many other popular shops including BJs, Target and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
One of the benefits of living close to the Wellington Park Center is there are a lot of restaurants when you want to dine out. There are two local pubs, and a full array of international cuisine from German, Chinese, Korean and Mexican. Residents can also pick up a slice of pizza or take a ride down the street for a basic TGI Friday’s and other choices.
In addition to many headliner concerts, the Koka Booth Amphitheatre hosts movies by moonlight and several community festivals.
Sports & Fitness
We like that Bennington Woods is located right alongside the Speight Branch Greenway trail so that you can lace up your running shoes and hit the path to release you anxiety after a long day of work. Residents here may also want to visit the Dream Sports Center about 5.5 miles southwest where you can play everything from hockey to volleyball.
