Surround yourself by the calming waters of several small lakes in this residential community south of Charlotte. Lakeside is positioned a little way off Independence Boulevard at Village Lake Drive where you will find a small shopping center including Wal-Mart, a supermarket and Ruby Tuesday restaurant.   You will find several area schools nearby, convenient if you have kids so they won’t have to spend all day on the bus. Moments south of here you can enter McAlpine Creek Park for an afternoon of outdoor adventure including exploring miles of trails along the Greenway, playing horse shoes or maybe some fishing. Residents here can reach the Uptown area in under 15 minutes. Along the way you will pass the medical centers and community college providing many other places for employment and educational opportunities.

Location

At Lakeside, you can walk to a bus stop on Village Lake Drive or access the Expressway in just two minutes. The neighborhood of this south Charlotte community includes a CVS pharmacy, Domino’s Pizza, Family Dollar, schools and a large park. The immediate area is mostly residential.
