With such quick access to US 70, the Plaza Apartments are a great option for commuters working throughout the Raleigh Metro area. This property is central to schools, shopping and dining options in Garner NC.
Clusters of pine and shade trees surround the landscape around the mostly two-story brick buildings found in a quiet residential neighborhood. The winding drive will make you feel like you’re navigating a country road, but city amenities will be just around the corner.
You would have to hike about a mile to the nearest bus stop, a bit too far for our liking. If you need to use public transportation this may not be the best location. However, drivers will be rewarded with immediate access to US 70 for a short trip towards Raleigh.
There are a few professional offices in this neighborhood, but few retail shops. A Food Lion grocery market is only a three minute drive so it will be easy to fill up your refrigerator. The Plaza Apartments are also just 2.3 miles from a large shopping center that includes Target, Office Max and Home Depot.
Take a ride up Aversboro Road to 5th Avenue and you will find a nice selection of restaurants that includes pizza, Chinese and Mexican, Subway and Arby’s. you will find many other options near the shopping center off Timber Drive.
While renting here you might watch a few live stage shows at the Garner Performing Arts Center, spend some time in the nature center at White Deer Park or do some skating at the Garner Ice House.
