Take a walk down Wind Road for about seven minutes to find the nearest bus stop on North Church Street. The stop provides service to the #3 round to the Depot. For those with a car, you can drive right down North Church Street to reach downtown Greensboro.

Shopping

Just around the corner from here there is a shopping plaza with a Food Lion grocery store and some other shops where you can get your nails done, get help with insurance or taxes. Another retail area is a little further down Lees Chapel Road where you will find a Harris Teeter supermarket and other shops. This neighborhood includes a car wash, urgent care center and dry cleaners.

Dining

You will have a decent selection of eateries in this area including H&F Cafeteria, Domino’s Pizza and a local sub sandwich shop. Many other restaurants can be found heading west on Pisgah Church Road including sushi, soup, Mexican and Mediterranean foods.

Recreation

Brannon Park comes jam-packed with recreation facilities from basketball and tennis courts to a heated indoor swimming pool. Residents can put on some skates at Skateland USA North and roll around the indoor rink for some fun. Families can enjoy checking out some sharks, penguins, and crocodiles at the Greensboro Science Center. A Cinemark movie cinema is located about ten minutes from this site.
