Fulton Place is a perfect resting place for students of UNCG where you will not only enjoy the close location but the price and amenities as well (Hey, with free Internets access, you can surf the web all day). These apartments are also close to Greensboro College and downtown.
Location
This row of attractive modern apartments is set along Lee Street, just around the corner from UNC Greensboro.
Transportation
There is a Ride GTA bus stop right at the front entrance to this complex on Fulton Street providing access to the #11 route. Lee Street will also lead you over to I-40 if you have a car.
Shopping
When you need to get some food for your kitchen, there are a couple of grocery markets near the university. If you are shopping for a bargain there is a Salvation Army Thrift Store down the street.
Dining
You can find a Jamaican café across the street that is said to be very good, but if that is not your style, take a walk up Tate Street where variety of cuisine varies from New York pizza to Indian food to sushi. These dining spots serve the university crowd so you can expect most of them to be well-rated.
Recreation
With so many cultural attractions nearby, you will want to set some time aside to visit a few while living here. The Weatherspoon Art Museum displays well-respected collections of 201th and 21st Century southeast American art. Several blocks north of here is where the Blandwood Mansion, a national historic landmark is located. For a relaxing afternoon, visit the UNCG Gardens.
