Transportation

The nearest bus stop to Grand Summit Apartments is just over one half mile on West Friendly Ave and will take about twelve minutes to walk enabling you to catch the #7 bus route. Unfortunately, you may not be able to access sidewalks the entire way. Drivers will use W Friendly Avenue to access I-73 or get downtown.

Shopping

This is not a neighborhood where you are going to find loads of great shops and services.   There is a Harris Teeter supermarket down the street that will more than satisfy your grocery needs. You can also find some businesses nearby such as banks, a laundry, flowers, auto repair and gas. Serious shoppers will find the Guilford College Road will lead them to a large shopping area along Wendover Avenue.

Dining

You won’t find much in terms of dining spots in this neighborhood, but within a few minutes you can reach a bunch of places near Quaker Village Shopping Center such as Starbucks, Boston Market and two Mexican restaurants.

Recreation

We suggest you get a mountain bike while living here to take advantage of the Bicentennial Greenway located right behind Grand Summit. You can run or bike for miles. This property is not far from an indoor skate center and The Barn Dinner Theatre.
