Here is a great place if you want an easy ride to the airport or access to I-40. The Hidden Lakes community offers a taste of the picturesque countryside with beautiful lakes to gaze from your apartment.

Location

The neighborhood includes a couple of bars, a self-storage facility, a fruit and vegetable market and a gas station.

Transportation

Take a walk down the long driveway of Hidden Lakes and you will quickly discover a Ride GTA bus stop offering service on the #9 route. For those with a car, you can head down Market Street to make your way downtown or use Guilford College Road to access I-40.

Shopping

Both Harris Teeter and Food Lion supermarkets can be found down the street from here. You will find plenty of other shops along Market Street such as self-storage, auto services, clothing and a fitness center. If you drive down Meadowood Street you can reach the Wendover Village which hosts a Costco store.

Dining

There are a few local restaurants near these apartments, but as you travel east you will find a much bigger selection of dining spots that includes all different types of ethnic foods. A few nearby include Cooper’s Ale House, Amore’s Pizza and Sarah’s Kabob Shop.

Recreation

Hidden Lakes offers lots of recreation activities onsite that you may not need to venture off too often. Get together with friends for basketball, tennis, swimming or fun on the playground. There are a couple of indoor bounce centers nearby for kids and The Barn Dinner Theatre for a fun night out.
