Transportation

There are two bus stops near the front of this complex where residents can catch the #6 route of Ridge GTA to the Depot.   You will also have fast access to US 29 from the entrance on East Cone Boulevard.

Shopping

A quick turn onto East Cornwallis Drive and you will reach the Golden Gate Shopping Center, a small retail plaza that contains a Food Lion and several other shops. Nearby you can find a gas station, CVS pharmacy and a convenience store. There is also a Wal-Mart Supercenter on the opposite side of US 29.

Dining

Off East Cornwallis Drive there is a nice group of restaurants that includes Subway, pizza, Chinese and Mexican food. Additional dining spots can be found east on Cone Boulevard just past the highway.

Recreation

Families who choose Smoketree for their next apartment home will want to take a few trips to the Greensboro Science Center on Lawndale Drive which includes a museum, aquarium and zoo.   A tennis and racquetball club with pool can be found on Alma Pinnix Drive. You can catch a movie at the Carousel Luxury Cinema on Battleground Avenue.
