Here is a development close to Route 421 that will let you get into the city pretty quickly. You will have nearby access to other highways such as I-40 and I-85. This site could be great if you work for the Kindred Hospital on South Side Boulevard.

Location

The white fencing and bright buildings provide a welcoming feeling as you enter this community from Pleasant Garden Road. Residents here can quickly zip up Route 421 to reach downtown Greensboro.

Transportation

This is not the greatest location if you plan to use public transportation to get around. The nearest bus stop is only a little more than one half mile away, but there are no sidewalks and you would have to cross a busy roadway to reach it. Drivers can access Highway 421 right up the street.

Shopping

There is a Food Lion supermarket on Alamance Church Road about 1.1 miles from The Gardens. There is also a Wal-Mart Supercenter near I-85 not too far south of this site.

Dining

There is not really a great selection of restaurants close to this place but if you want some pizza or a sandwich a handful of fast serve restaurants can be found near I-40. You can choose from some other restaurants along Randleman Road not far away.

Recreation

One of the nice features of this community is that it is loaded with amenities including a heated pool, indoor sports complex and a DVD library. If you want to play outside, Barber Park is not far from the Anthony House apartments. You will also be able to get downtown quickly for shows and entertainment.
