We like the location of Treybrooke Village for those considering living on the south side of Greensboro. You will have a short ride into the downtown area and can easily access I-85 for out of town travel. There is are several large parks within reach of this property, and while not super close to the major shopping areas, there are enjoy stores in this neighborhood to get what you really need.
As you pass through the gated front entrance of this apartment community you will notice the pool and tennis courts and playground. This neighborhood includes a pharmacy and fresh produce shop.
You can walk about five minutes to a bus stop in front of the CVS on West Elmsley Drive. There are sidewalks along the way and the stop provides service on Ride GTA’s #12 and #12A routes. Treybrooke Village is very convenient to the primary shopping options in this area highlighted by the Wal-Mart Supercenter on the opposite side of the street. This walkable neighborhood will also enable you to reach Lowes, several hair salons, CVS and a Cracker Barrel store (great for unique holiday decorations and gifts). The mall is just about eight minutes from this spot.
We realize that everyone needs a day off from cooking once in a while and this neighborhood has several dining options to consider when that time comes. Cracker Barrel serves up delicious home-style meals and comfort food that could be a regular stop. This area also has Subway, Mexican food, Starbucks and a pizza shop. Many other choices can be found north of here on Randleman Road.
One of the big pluses of this location is the proximity to the Wet’n Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park. You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy the many slides, splash zones and pools present at this recreation center, but if you move here with a family, they will likely appreciate the fun. While renting here you may enjoy some time outdoors at Hagan-Stone Park.
