You can find a bunch of convenience and dollar type stores along US 29. A larger retail area that includes Wal-Mart and Kohl’s is located off Dale Earnhardt Boulevard. You can of course also reach the mall in a few minutes. Within a couple of minutes you can reach a nice variety of restaurants such as Mexican, Italian, subs and wings. There are lots of national chain restaurants as you get closer to the mall.

Recreation

If you are looking for a change of pace from playing horse shoes or indoor games, head over to the Kannapolis Recreation Park where you can enjoy the swimming pool or play disc golf. Take in a baseball game at the CMC Northeast Stadium or visit the Goodyear Racing Center.
