Quietly situated off Milling Road, the Northwood Apartments offer easy access to Main Street (US 158) enabling residents to reach Winston-Salem in less than one half hour. If you head towards the downtown area there is a hospital and several large employers such as VF Jeanswear, Jockey and Ingersoll-Rand. It is also just a simple ride southeast of here to reach the city of Lexington.

Location

This rental property is not far from Main Street on the northeast side of Mocksville. The neighborhood includes a church and day school and is not far from a community park.

Shopping & Dining

There are a couple of Food Lion grocery stores where you can pick up your food supplies within a couple of miles of Northwood. One is on Salisbury Road the other on Valley Road. Some renters may prefer to just drive up Campbell Road past I-40 to shop at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. In addition to great prices, you can pick up some kitchen gear, a supply of vitamins or new release DVDs for movie night. You will find some well-liked restaurants right in town and along Valley Road.

Recreation

Nearby Rich Park has a variety of sport fields and courts where you can get together with friends for a friendly competition. There is also a basketball court on this property so you can practice your shots or play a game or horse. Kids can make use of the community playground.
