Willow Glen offers a great opportunity to embrace the city of Monroe for all it is worth. There is a pizza shop/Italian restaurant within walking distance. A few other restaurants can be found near the hospital.
Situated on the south side of the city, Willow Glen is fairly close to the Monroe City Golf Course where you may work out some kinks in your game before moving on to the Rolling Hills Country Club. The Treehouse Vineyards host frequent events, or you could just stop in for a tasting – although you may need a reservation for the weekend. Nearby Sunset Park has lots of fields and courts for outdoor activities.
