This is a great site for medical professionals employed at the Carolinas Medical Center located on Park Road where your commute to work will be just minutes. This apartment community is found off Lancaster Highway close to the mall and Belle Johnston Park. The neighborhood includes a church, elementary school and a few dining spots.

Transportation

It is just over one mile to the nearest bus stop on Park Road, a little far to walk and with limited sidewalks, we suggest you plan to have a car living here. However, motorists can quickly get onto I-485 to get around the metro area.

Shopping & Dining

One of the big pluses of Landmark at Chesterfield is the proximity to great shopping that includes the Carolina Place Mall which includes more than 130 shops and services to meet all your needs. If you are into athletics, there is a Dick’s Sporting Goods store that is fun just to walk around but will also carry just about anything you need. We think it is a good idea to have a membership to either Sam’s Club or BJ’s Wholesale Club to take advantage of big savings from bulk purchases of everyday items. Don’t worry - there is also a Food Lion store nearby if you just want to run in for a few ingredients. A byproduct of having a mall nearby is there will also be lots of places to eat. You can find several Mexican restaurants, Longhorn Steakhouse and Olive Garden to name a few.

Recreation

Landmark has generously provided residents with a pool, tennis court, multi-use sport court and playground for fun activities. You will be able to visit the Polk Historic Site, go fishing at Belle Johnston Park, or take a quick ride of South Boulevard to watch a movie at the AMC Cinema.
