Find the Trails of North Hills alongside Crabtree Creek near the intersection of I-440 and Glenwood Ave (US 70). This neighborhood includes several hotels, a Baptist church, and of course lots of shops.
Plan to walk about one half mile to lead mine Road to catch a Capital Area Transit bus. The trek will take you about 10-11 minutes. There is a gas station that motorists can use right around the corner before you enter the interstate. Residents here have access to a Wal-Mart Supercenter a few miles up Glenwood Avenue and a Harris Teeter grocery store on Six Forks Road.
