The Oaks Apartments can be found on the north side of Sanford, NC just past Hawkins Avenue. It is pretty much isolated except for a car dealership next door and lots of trees on two sides. The neighborhood includes a grocery store, a few restaurants, and a gas station.

US Highway 1 is 985 feet away at its closest point so you will get some highway noise, but not too much.

Access to US Highway 1 and US 15/501 are just around the corner making it a snap to get out of Sanford in a hurry.

The Triangle Area – The Oaks Apartments is one of the only apartment communities on this side of town and the closet to the Raleigh metro area. You can get to the Wake Med Hospital and Cary Town Center in about one half hour.

Fort Bragg – if you head south down NC-87 it is a clear shot to the base but it will take about 45 minutes.

This area includes a Chinese food and Italian restaurants. Take a short drive down Hawkins Ave to find some local favorite eateries such as The Steele Pig (classic southern fare) and La Dolce Vita Pizzeria.
