We also find this is a family friendly location next to an elementary school and lots of on-site activities.

Cape Harbor Apartment Homes is located in the Ogden section of Wilmington, NC. The property is set well back from Market Street and close to a large park.

A few places in this neighborhood include a grocery store, school, pizza shop, and gas station.

There is a bit of traffic along Gordon Road on the west side of the property as it offers access to I-40 but most of the apartments are further away so noise is limited.

Is this a good spot for commuters?

You can walk down Cape Harbor Drive to Gordon Road to find a Wave Transit bus stop that you can use instead of driving everywhere.   It should take about 8-9 minutes to walk to the stop.

Anyone with a car can use US 17 to zip downtown. Military Cutoff on the opposite side of the highway will give you quick access towards the beach. For travel out of town, Gordon Road will lead you right to an I-40 entrance.

Are there any things I should know about the cost of Cape Harbor?

This is one of the most affordable communities close to Wrightsville Beach. Keep an eye out for possible extra charges such as trash and pet fees.

Shopping & Dining

You can find some decent shops along Market Street including both Food Lion and Harris Teeter grocery stores, a Walgreens pharmacy, Big Lots and auto care.

There are several pizza shops, Ruth’s Kitchen, Subway and ice cream in the area.

Mayfaire Town Center is a huge retail center with a few dozen shops and a 16-screen movie cinema.

Recreation

Near Cape Harbor Apartments there are lots of fun attractions that are great for families such as a golf driving range, an indoor jungle gym playhouse and an ice skating arena. You can certainly enjoy spending lots of time outdoors at nearby Ogden Park equipped with and extensive paved trail around the lake, playgrounds and lots of soccer fields.
