Location

You can expect to find The Creek apartments off of Wrightsville Avenue, just north of the Cape Fear Country Club. This neighborhood includes Empie Park which has 18 tennis courts and lot of other facilities.

Transportation

To get to a Wave Transit bus stop, you are going to need to walk about ½ miles to Castle Street which will take about 7-8 minutes. Motorists can quickly get on US 76 to travel towards the river or the beach.

Shopping & Dining

There are a few dining spots nearby such as Papa John’s pizza, Subway and Chinese food. You can find lots of service businesses in this area including a bank, pharmacy, pawn shop, and convenience store. Within five minutes you can be at the Independence Mall exploring the 140+ shops under its roof. There is also a Harris Teeter grocery near the mall.

Recreation

Some residents here will enjoy using the Cross City Trail for daily runs or bike rides. If you like sports, Empie Park is the place to be with tennis, baseball, basketball and a playground on the premises.
