As you plan a move to Pennsylvania, you might be considering an apartment is one of the large cities such as Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown or Harrisburg, the state capital. While the state is vast in size, much of the population is concentrated in these areas and their suburbs. Philadelphia has a great transportation system called Septa to help commuters get around.

Many people choose to relocate to the state to attend one of the many top higher education institutions such as The Pennsylvania State University, University of Pittsburgh, Temple University and Drexel University.

Renters who are theme park fans will enjoy frequent visits to the many amusement areas such as Hershey Park, Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom, Dutch Wonderland or even the Crayola Factory. History buffs will want to spend some time in Philadelphia Independence Hall, Congress Hall, and the Liberty Bell Pavilion or a trip to Gettysburg to see one of the many Civil War attractions.

Kids will love to spend a day at the Franklin Institute Science Museum where they can see displays of Ben Franklin's experiments, or try out their own experiment with the many hand on exhibits. The young and old will appreciate a tour of the Anderson Pretzel Bakery to see how those tasty snacks are made.
