The northern Texas city of Canyon is situated along Interstate 27 about a 20 minute drive north to Amarillo. Living in an apartment in this community you won't be far from the Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport so out of town travel will be easy.

You can go for a scenic drive through Palo Duro Canyon State Park or grab a mountain bike and ride some of the trails. While here you can check out the visitor's center, attend a ranger program or watch a show at the Pioneer Amphitheater.
