I am a current resident in this apartment but I plan to move to a bigger place next year. Since I'm not going to be in town this summer, I will have to move out in May, but my lease doesn't end until July 30, 2005. The landlord said I can let someone take over the last 2 months of my lease, and that person has the option of renewing for the next yr (they are flexible on lease terms). Currently, rent is $645, I got this on a special so I'm not sure what normal rent is. I think it's $695. There is a rooftop pool, laundry facilities, locked main door, and ample parking. Apartment is unfurnished, fully carpeted except bathroom & kitchen, good closet space, and on the side of the building that gets good sunlight. Many restaurants and stores in less than 10 minute walking distance. Pets are allowed with an additional $10/mo pet rent. There is a pet deposit, but I'm not sure how that will work if you take over my lease. Management is VERY responsive and accomodating to students' needs. I have enjoyed my stay here, but I have to move out because I need a bigger place. You will NOT get an apartment this size for this cheap so near the Vanderbilt campus. An apartment of comparable size in a building 2 blocks from here runs at least $900/month. My apartment has been maintained well so it's not crappy. My living room wall is painted light green (earthy tone, not flourescent) and the bedroom is a very pale shade of lavendar. I can keep it this way or paint it white if you wish.
