The Reward Policy:

The RentalsOnline.com Reward Policy – claiming a $125 reward

Start by viewing listings identified as Reward eligible on RentalsOnline.com for your next apartment. When visiting the property, let the leasing office know that you used RentalsOnline.com to find their community. Once you have signed a lease for a participating property, use the RentalsOnline.com website to notify us. We will verify your information with the property and process a $125 payment (the “Reward”).

Our Process:

Step 1 - Find an Apartment using RentalsOnline.com:

Begin by finding apartments that are identified as Rewards eligible on RentalsOnline.com. Only properties that participate in this program are eligible for a Reward. Not all of the properties listed on this site are Reward eligible.

It is important to note that you will only be eligible for a Reward if you have a valid and current account on RentalsOnline.com, viewed the property on RentalsOnline.com BEFORE you signed a lease, and let the property know that your source of finding the apartment was RentalsOnline.com.

Your account - Contact the property by completing the simple form on the listing page (it only takes seconds). This will also create an account for you and send you an email with log in information. Make sure the property is listed in your account before you sign a lease.

Verify your information - We must be able to confirm that you used RentalsOnline.com to find the property. When you submit a Reward Claim, we will check your account to verify that you viewed the property on RentalsOnline.com before the date you signed the lease. It is possible that you created more than one account. In this case you must let us know which account you used to view the listing of the apartment you rented.

Step 2 - Note that you found the property on RentalsOnline.com:

Visit the property and make sure you let them know that your source of finding their apartment was “RENTALSONLINE.COM”! You can do this by writing it on the guest card, the application and any other paperwork. Without this, we will not be able to collect the fee to pay you a Reward. If you identify other referral sources such as “the Internet” or “drive by”, you will NOT be eligible for a Reward.

Move in - To qualify to receive a Reward, you must take residence at the property and your name must appear on the lease as an occupant.

Renters will NOT qualify for the Reward under the following conditions:

  • You report another website, or offline service, or persons/entities other than RentalsOnline.com as your source for finding the property
  • You are a previous resident of the property
  • You are a previous resident of a property owned or managed by the company leasing the property
  • You are a current or former employee of the property or management company

Step 3 - Notify us of your lease:

Once you have signed a lease for a property that you found on RentalsOnline.com, let us know by completing the Reward claim form. Log into your account, select the property that you rented and complete the form. We will then verify that you viewed the property on this site before signing the lease, and we will submit a request to collect the fee from the property.

Only one Reward will be granted per signed lease for a specific property. If multiple tenants submit a Reward claim for the same lease, we will honor only the first form that was received and verified (if two or more people sign a lease and move into an apartment, only one $125 Reward will be given for that lease).

When to submit your claim - A claim can be submitted as soon as you sign your lease, but it must be within 30 days of your move-in date to receive the Reward. You must have completed each of the foregoing steps on the day you sign your lease.

Payments - It may take approximately 6-10 weeks from the time we are notified, or your move in date whichever is later, to receive your Reward. In order for you to receive a Reward, we must collect our fee from the property manager. We are unable to pay a Reward until we receive our fee. Payments will be mailed to your new address on the lease.

The properties that participate in our Reward program are updated regularly. Any Reward claims must be submitted within 30 days after a property (i) is removed from our website, or (ii) ceases to participate in the Reward program.
