For the most part you can take a ride down Edgewood Road towards E Ave where you can find the Plaza West Shopping Center to get pizza, Chinese food, and subs or to get your hair cut. Additional shops can be reached as you travel south.

Recreation

Having the Ellis Golf Course in your backyard makes this place a no-brainer for golf enthusiasts who can keep their clubs and shoes in the trunk and slip in for a game at any time. If you have a mountain bike, there are miles of trails along the river and through the park (sorry, no woods or Grandma), where you can get fantastic views and some exercise as a side benefit. The Ellis aquatic center is sure to be a fun place for kids that will keep them busy for hours during the summer months.
