It won’t take you long to get to the Ford Motor Company facility south of the airport from the Auburn Place apartments in south Louisville. Several other companies can be found in an industrial park on the west side of the airport. The ride to Churchill Downs is easy and the University is just beyond that. Here you will find plenty of outdoor recreation with a huge park site minutes north.

If you look along 3rd Street Road you will find Auburn Place just past new Cut Road. The neighborhood here includes a Baptist Church, a few shops and several restaurants.

Make one of the first tasks once you move in here to get your hands on a mountain bike so that you can take advantage of the lengthy trails cascading through Iroquois Park. You can also enjoy horse shoes, basketball, archery and many other activities. A few minutes north of this site you can find a bowling center.
