The Juliana Apartments in Hoboken, NJ are less than one mile from the Stevens Institute of Technology Situated across several blocks along Hudson Street. You can walk down 7^th Street and get there in about 15 minutes. On the way you will pass many shops, restaurants and bars that could be fun to discover.

Tucked away on the edge of Hoboken between Sixth and 7^th Streets, The Juliana Apartments are in a less trafficked neighborhood. There are train tracks along one side of the property but most of the hustle and bustle is several blocks east.

What’s in walking distance?

This is Hoboken so you will pretty much be within walking distance of everything. The Juliana is located on the west side of the city about 11 blocks from Washington Street which is lined with shops and eateries. Along the way there you will pass an ACME Markets, the nearest grocery store. Shop Rite is also close by. You will also find a liquor store and Dunkin’ Donuts.

There are many popular eateries in the neighborhood. One place you will want to check out for oversized pizza slices that can’t be beat is Benny Tudino’s. Go there hungry.   Willie McBride’s is a great place to go for a beer or to watch sporting events and is within five blocks.

Public Transportation Options

If you walk just two blocks north you can catch a train at the 9^th Street Light Rail station to the Hoboken Station. There you can take a PATH train or ferry to New York or hop another light rail to Jersey City. You can also take trains from Hoboken throughout New Jersey.

A ride from the 9^th Street Station to Hoboken terminal will only take 6 minutes as there is only one stop in between. It may take you longer to walk to 9^th Street!

Another way to get to New York is to take a ferry from the 14^th street terminal which will transport you to midtown or the World Financial Center.

Residents of The Juliana might enjoy a stage performance at Mile Square Theatre or a movie at Bow Tie Cinemas. Another spot that where you can take in local live entertainment is Sinatra Park Amphitheater at the riverfront.

Families will be several blocks from Hoboken High School. You can play tennis and basketball in Columbus Park or visit the Hoboken Library off of 5^th Street.

While renting here you many enjoy long bike rides or runs along the Hudson River Waterfront pathway.
