If you are looking for a bit more of a suburban lifestyle, the Eastbrooke Apartments are somewhat out of the way from the action of the city of Burlington. It will only take 2 minutes to reach North Church Street and 5 minutes to get downtown. This is a decent spot if you will be commuting to Durham 33 miles east.
This property is close to the Eastlawn Elementary School, Rite Aid, McDonald’s, and several county offices.
The only public transportation nearby is the Amtrak train which you can take to Charlotte. Residents here can use North Church Street (US 70) to reach downtown Burlington.
You will be able to get food shopping done at either the Food Lion on North Church Street (1.2 miles) or the Wal-Mart Supercenter (.9 miles) on South Graham Hopedale Road. While Wal-Mart may carry most of the items you need around your apartment, there is a mall several miles west of here and the Alamance Crossing shopping center where you can find just about everything else.
While living at Eastbrooke Apartments you may enjoy visits to the Glen Marie Vineyard and Winery which has a tasting room that is open year round. Another place to check out is the Textile Heritage Museum highlighting the county’s history in the textile industry with a variety of exhibits. Renters can also have some fun at the Put-Put Fun Center, catch a Burlington Royals baseball game or a movie at the Graham Cinema.
