Here is a great place to live if you plan to work for Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, one of the largest employers in the city. It is possible to walk the whole way in about 20 minutes, although there are not sidewalks the entire way. Renters who choose the Cosgrove Hill apartments will find this place is an easy ride to Research Triangle Park and the airport. UNC is only a ten minute drive from this address.

If you plan to drive yourself around, you can get right on US Highway 15 which you can take north to I-40 or south to downtown Chapel Hill.

Shopping

There are a couple of retail plazas just south of here where you can discover a Whole Foods Market and Food Lion grocery stores, so even last minute shopping will be a breeze. Ride up US 15 about 2 miles and there you will find two larger shopping centers that will offer nearly all the goods and services you may need. Wal-Mart Supercenter is a store that will carry lots of home goods, food items, electronics and more. Barnes and Noble, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Bed Bath & Beyond are all in this area.

Dining

Within walking distance you will find a couple of fast food places and a Mexican Restaurant. Fortunately along US 15 there is an ample supply of well-liked restaurants within just two miles. For example, you may go to Carrabba’s Italian Grill as your regular place, families may enjoy the Loop Pizza Grill and you may visit Time Out Sports Bar when the big games are on.

Recreation

Cosgrove Hill has made an effort to provide a collection of amenities so you have fun right at home such as a playground, pool and fire pit. When you want to ventures around the town a bit you can discover live performing arts shows at the Deep Dish Theater on Estes Drive. If you drive over to Community Park you can go for a run or long mountain bike ride on the Bolin Creek Trail. Of course you won’t be far from downtown where you can enjoy many other attractions such as the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center.
