From your new apartment at Harris Pond you will find it easy to reach UNC Charlotte and the CMC University medical center. There are also many businesses in a nearby corporate park providing jobs to lots of area residents. Living here you will be able to take a short drive down WWT Harris Boulevard to reach the UNC campus in about 10 minutes. This prime location is about midway between two large shopping areas. The first is near the university and includes lots of big name retailers such as Wal-Mart, IKEA, Sam’s Club and Pier 1 Imports. In the other direction, the Northlake Mall is filled with 150 or so specialty retailers and several department stores. If you just want to pick up a few groceries, there is a Harris Teeter store down the street. Residents of this property might enjoy spending some time exploring the nearby Clarks Creek Greenway for some great exercise outdoors.

Location

Harris Pond is situated in northeast Charlotte right off NC 24. The community surrounds an attractive pond and is nearby several other residential properties. There is no public bus stop in this area so you will likely need a car to get around the city.
