Rentals Online researchers have dissected this neighborhood for you…
The Townes at Northridge Park Apartments offer a nice site for staff of Methodist University who are seeking a place off campus but not right across the street. Living here you can reach the campus within 8 minutes and be able to put it behind you when classes are over. This address is also just a few miles from the Fayetteville VA Medical Center.
Location
These apartments are located within a residential neighborhood off Country Club Drive north of downtown Fayetteville. Nearby you can find Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin Robins (ice cream),and Rite Aid pharmacy.
Transportation
It will take you about 10-11 minutes to walk to the bus stop at Country Club and Gables Drives. The public transit there has #4 and #9 lines for service to the VA Medical Center and University Estates. If you have a car, US Highway 401 will lead you to the downtown area of Fayetteville.
Shopping
Expect to find several stores that will serve you well at Northridge Park including a Food Lion grocery where you can do most of your food shopping. A few places such as Family Dollar and Big Lots are fun places to find a few things you might need (or didn’t even know you wanted). You can use the Wal-Mart Supercenter to find just about everything else.
Dining
Look for a great selection of restaurants along Ramsey Street, just around the corner from the Townes. While mostly fast food style places, there are a few restaurants where you can sit down to enjoy your meal for a while such as Ruby Tuesday and Shogun Japanese.
Recreation
At the J. Bayard Clark Park & Nature Center, rangers conduct regular events such as nature fairs and astronomy discussions. If you want an excellent spot to get some exercise, you can access the Cape Fear River Trail from here and enjoy a 4-mile paved pathway. The Smith recreation center has lighted basketball courts and two playgrounds giving families a great place to run around.
A growing and diverse student body of more than 6,000, this school is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service to the community.
