Consider Park at Cross Creek if you want to live near the medical center. These apartments are within a five minute drive letting you get there quickly, but not live too close. These apartments are not loaded with amenities, but there are many things to do nearby. You will also be able to get to the interstate fairly quick from this site.
Location
These apartments are set back from any main roads in a nice quiet atmosphere. The neighborhood includes a church, auto repair shop, and other residential housing.

With New Hope Road just around the corner from this site you will be able to make your way down to I-85 for a simple ride into Charlotte or to the airport.
Shopping
There is a Food Lion grocery store one half mile from Park at Cross Creek where you can get your grocery shopping finished. There are not a lot of other shops locally, but as you cross I-85 you will find a large retail area highlighted by the Eastridge Mall and more than 70 specialty shops. Other shops popular shops such as Target, TJ Maxx and Dick’s Sporting Goods are located just past the mall.
Dining
Near the Food Lion, there is a well-rated pizza shop and a Chinese restaurant. A few other places we like in this area include Outback Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse and Cracker Barrel (try the chicken and dumplings).
Recreation
Active renters will enjoy the Bradley Community Center down Modena Street where you can play tennis or perhaps a game of disc golf. While living here you might enjoy a trip to the Gaston County Museum to learn about the history of this area. If you make your way over to East Franklin Boulevard you can find movies, bowling and an arcade.
