Here is a nice location where you can live central to many of Greensboro’s tops destinations. It will be easy to get to the downtown area or UNCG from this site. You will find lots of shopping nearby as well as entertainment options. Access to I-40 is also in the area for trips out of town.

Transportation

You can easily walk to a bus stop on Hewitt Street about six minutes away. There are no sidewalks on Fir Place but the road is rather private. The stop provides service for the #1 route to the Depot. If you plan to drive yourself around, Patterson Street can lead you into downtown Greensboro or to I-40.

Shopping

Everything you might need will be right around the corner on Wendover Avenue highlighted by Costco, Sam’s Club, Wal-Mart Supercenter and Target. There are dozens of specialty shops and services within a couple of minutes of the village of Nantucket.

Dining

There is really not a lot of dining spots very close to this property. If you drive over to Market Street you will find an incredible selection of international cuisine from Korean to Mexican. For a bunch of more popular American restaurants head down Wendover past I-40 and you will find plenty of local fare.

Recreation

Around the corner from here you can find bowling, billiards and paintball. The Celebration Station family fun center can be found off Big Tree Way. The city’s big entertainment venues are also nearby.
