Transportation

You can find a public bus stop along East 1^st Street near East 3^rd Street providing service on the #5 route. Residents will also have access to the ECU Shuttle. There is also a bike lane along East 1^st Street.

Shopping

Residents here will be able to use S Elm Street to reach a Harris Teeter grocery store on East 14th Street. If you drive about five minutes south you can reach the Greenville mall and lots of other popular stores including Wal-Mart, Target and Kmart.

Dining

Even if you have a university meal plan, there will still be times when you want to meet a friend for dinner. Locally you may find Christy’s Euro Pub to your liking with packed menu for lunch, dinner and late night dining. If you go to the end of East 5^th Street you will find a nice selection of eateries such as Domino’s Pizza, Subway and Chinese food.

Recreation

It won’t take long to get from Wesley South at East Carolina to the Tar River Greenway trail for a nice long bike ride or run along the river. While renting here be sure to check out a few shows at the university’s Hendrix Theatre.
