The Cloisters & Foxfire Apartments are located off Deep River Road just north of downtown High Point. The neighborhood around these apartments includes a few dining spots, a dollar store and high school.
Transportation
It might take you 9-10 minutes to walk to the bus stop on Greensboro Road at Montlieu Avenue where you can ride the #13 route around the city. Those with their own set of wheels can quickly drive down to Main Street or hop on I-74 for a ride out of town.
Shopping & Dining
Close by Cloister/Foxfire there are a few shops such as a local grocery market and a dollar store. Food Lion is not far from here, but then, neither is the Oak Hollow Mall. Your best bet to grab something to eat in this area is along Eastchester Drive where a nice selection of places will serve everything from steak and local brews to a salad and pizza buffet.
Recreation
Lace up a good pair of running shoes and go for a daily trek on the High Point Greenway Trail to burn up a few calories and relieve some stress. You will definitely want to check out the High Point Museum for a glimpse of the city’s history. Just south of the mall you can bring your family to the arcade or play a game of mini golf.
