You won’t be able to walk to retail areas from here, but there are some shops and restaurants nearby on Cannon Boulevard. There are several fast food places such as Papa John’s Pizza, Wendy’s and Bojangles’ Famous Chicken that are close to Forest Park Crossing. You can also find Big Lots, a hair cutters, and pharmacy in the neighborhood. If you drive down Dale Earnhardt Boulevard south of here you can get to a much larger retail area where you will likely do much more of your shopping as it includes a Wal-Mart Supercenter, Sam’s Club and many more stores.

Recreation

This community sets the stage for fun afternoons with a game and craft room, plus a playground that could be perfect kids. There is not a lot to do in the immediate neighborhood, but you won’t be far from bowling lanes and an indoor skate center. For outdoor time, the Kannapolis Rec Park offers tennis, swimming and disc golf.
