Pine Hills Apartments are on the southeast side of downtown Raleigh. This property is within easy reach of St Augustine’s College, the Wake Medical Center and Shaw University. It will only take a few minutes to get to the North Carolina State Capitol or to one of the many arts venues that blanket the city. These apartments are close to an entrance to I-40 which you may use for trips to the International Airport or to reach the Durham area.
Location
With an address located just off Martin Luther King Boulevard, this apartment complex is an easy ride to NCSU. The neighborhood includes a bank, physician office, and Baptist church.
Transportation
Look for a Raleigh Transit bus stop just around the corner from Pine Hills where you can access the #5 route. An entrance to the interstate is right down Rock Quarry Road.
Shopping & Dining
You will find a local supermarket a couple of minute north of here and a Food Lion to the south just past I-40. While living here you might do a lot of shopping at the Sam’s Club on South Saunders Street for big savings buying bulk packaged goods. There are not many restaurants in the immediate area but it will only take a couple of minutes to get downtown for a vast selection of eateries.
Recreation
Residents here can catch concerts in the amphitheater at Fletcher Park. There are also tennis and basketball courts for the athletic minded renters. You might head over to Stewart Theater at the University for a live state performance or the Mission Valley Cinema to catch a movie.
