The Summer Place apartments are set just outside of the center of Wilson near a golf country club and several schools. This community is close to the Community College where you can take some classes for a hobby or enhance job skills. There are several business and industrial parks in nearby neighborhoods. BB&T, the city’s largest employer is situated on Nash Street NE only five minutes away. Bridgestone can be found about the same distance north of here on Firestone Parkway.

A Food Lion grocery store can be found right down the street from Summer Place. There are a few dollar type stores and a gas station nearby as well. If you drive up Raleigh Road Parkway a couple of minutes you can get to a Wal-Mart Supercenter for anything you may need around your apartment.

Recreation

While living here you can watch movies at the Carmike 10, play mini golf and the fun center on Ward Boulevard or take kids to the Imagination Station Science Museum. The Happy Valley Country Club is located just a chip shot south of here. you can also attend regular events at Ellis Convention Center.
